The Woodlands Township and the individual village covenant committees have specific rules about roofing materials, colors, and the approval process before any tear-off starts. The Residential Design Review Committee (RDRC) in Grogan's Mill is different from the one in Alden Bridge or Indian Springs Village. A contractor who doesn't know the rules will get you a notice from your village association within a week of completing the job, and you'll end up paying twice - once for the work, once for whatever modifications the committee requires.
